Notice: 2024 Service Update

Unfortunately, due to other workshop and personal commitments, my time in the workshop is likely to be very limited this year. As a result, I have decided not to offer full bike servicing, bike collection, and LEJoG bike handling in 2024. Wheel building is expected to continue as normal. I may have limited capacity in the workshop at various times for smaller bike repairs - please call.

Hi, I'm Stuart and this is my workshop. I'm a Cytech 2 qualified technician with a lifetime of experience repairing and maintaining bikes, including 7 years working as a professional bike mechanic for several reputable bike specialists.

I started offering a bike repair service locally in 2018 as a change of scenery from my career in IT. Since then, it has proved popular enough that, in late 2020, I officially launched Carn Bikes as a registered business.

As of 2024, the bulk of my business is in wheel building. This unfortunately means that workshop capacity is greatly reduced and I am only able to offer small repairs subject to availability.
